When you're among the ultimate in luxury brands, you need the ultimate luxury gift pack. This Remy Martin XO "Excellence" gift case featured a solid wood substrate, quilted satin interior, plexiglass window, brass hardware and a faux alligator skin wrap in vivid red. Page2 was tasked with product photography and the challenge of developing a rare full-color shipper that accurately reflected the sophistication of its contents.
The Macallan 'Essentials'
How do you tell the story of a brand as deep as The Macallan — its history, distillation processes, Sherry Oak & Fine Oak marques and its complete suite of aged expressions — in a print format the size of a credit card? Page2 developed the graphic design of this multi-panel fold-out that consolidates quickly & easily into an accordion format sandwiched by front and back cover cards...a solution as portable as it is educational.
The Macallan Pitcher Packs
This pairing of The Macallan pitcher packs — available with 10 year-old Fine Oak or 12 year-old Sherry Oak — sought to expand not only the bar set of the Scotch enthusiast but also their knowledge of The Macallan brand. The leather-bound booklet that accompanied each etched pitcher told the story of the brand's rich past, renowned present and hopeful future. Page2 developed the graphic design for the packages and also handled their promotional support through both print and online marketing.
Remy Martin VSOP Glass Packs
With the graphic design of the glass packs having been performed in France, Page2 was provided with the digital mechanicals in order to develop pre-production 3D renderings for advance promotions. This involved a combination of traditional photography and digital modelling in order to produce photorealistic product imagery for the Remy Cointreau USA salesforce.
Vermont Vodka Sell Sheets
The artisans of Vermont Spirits bring craft distilling to a whole new level with their vodka. While its two marques, Vermont White and Vermont Gold, adhere to the same branding standards, their marketing messages and supporting visuals diverge — the White being more lighthearted and the Gold striking a more sophisticated stance. Sidebar...A day spent digitally illustrating a martini onto the side of a cow = a good day.
Russian Standard & Imperia Sheets
The #1 vodka brand in Russia would be making its first trip to America. Both of its marques — Russian Standard & Imperia — would be piloted in major cities across the U.S. Remy Cointreau USA would be responsible for all marketing & distribution efforts, so they called upon Page2 — who had served many of their brands for 10+ years — to develop the majority of the print marketing, advertising, POS components and packaging for this critical initial launch.
This advertorial appeared in Food & Wine magazine, offering a culinary pairing for each expression of Piper-Heidsieck champagne. For an advertorial, the Art Director strays from the established branding — in direct contradiction to an advertisement — though does integrate some of its elements (color or typography, etc.)...the objective being a sense of 'third-partiness', as if the piece is simply another article within the publication.
Remy Cointreau Corporate Ad
Our mutual success with brand-specific projects for over 10 years earned Page2 the opportunity to develop the Remy Cointreau USA corporate ad. Since the launch of the original design, the approach has been revisited and the bottle photography revised to reflect changes in the RCUSA portfolio. This latest generation — like its predecessors — appears in numerous publications and is sometimes modified to serve other marketing needs.
The Macallan Glass Pack + CD
While glassware is most often the giveaway within a spirits VAP (Value-Added Package), this glass pack sought to portray a more complete picture of the rich heritage and tradition that define The Macallan brand. The enclosed CD-ROM guides the Scotch enthusiast through a vivid timeline that traces the history of The Macallan, a virtual tour that tracks its complex distillation process, and a knowledge base of single malt tasting and collecting.
Remy Martin Smooth Ride Program
Remy Martin's Smooth Ride program offered consumers in select U.S. cities the chance to win a motorcycle. Its marketing and POS components came in three design variations: two featuring a model and one with the motorcycle on its own. Since each approach from the initial pitch was favored for different reasons, and the pieces could be printed in relatively short runs, all three versions were used in the field.
Moet Hennessy USA Portfolio
Having served them well with brand-specific projects for many years, MHUSA granted Page2 the opportunity to develop the structure and design of the inserts for their annual brand portfolio. To offer readers a drill-down approach to accessing the content, we came up with a short-folded sheet that displayed an In Brief page when closed (for a quick brand snapshot) or an In Depth spread when open (for a complete brand story).
Piper-Heidsieck Cool Box Promo
The introduction of Piper-Heidsieck's Cool Box — a portable isothermic case that keeps champagne cool for up to 2 hours — called for marketing and POS materials to promote the innovative packaging. Mirroring the style of the package itself, this sell sheet is set in the brand's rich shaded red with gold metallic and white type. The three-phase product photography includes callouts that describe specific features of the case.
MHUSA Italian Wine Label Cards
Offered as handouts/takeaways at Point-Of-Sale, tastings and events, these cards — featuring actual size label replicas on the front with brief tasting notes on the back — provide a direct connection between promotion and purchase. Consumers simply match the visual in their hand to the bottle on the shelf. These cards were developed for Moet Hennessy USA's complete collection of Italian wines.
The Macallan Stopper Pack
The Macallan stopper pack featured the acclaimed 12 year-old with a complimentary bottle stopper. The stopper was cast in solid pewter and portrayed the Easter Elchies House — the "spiritual home of The Macallan". This rendering of the Easter Elchies house appears in The Macallan logo, which was reproduced in a combination of white and metallic gold. The history of the house runs down one side of the box, with accolades of this fine single malt on the other and tasting notes completing the story on the back.
Russian Standard POS Components
For the U.S. test-marketing of Russian Standard & Imperia vodkas, Remy Cointreau USA called upon Page2 to develop the majority of the print marketing, advertising, POS components and packaging. During this period of its developing strategy, Russian Standard featured a tone-on-tone pattern of intricate scrollwork with the wolf & eagle watermark — both derived from the bottle's label.

In Robert M. Parker Jr.'s book The World's Greatest Wine Estates, Newton Vineyard — a member of the Moet Hennessy USA portfolio — was featured with a complete photojournalistic profile. Seizing on this marketing opportunity, MHUSA called on Page2 to design a custom Newton-branded jacket that was applied to a quantity of books that were then gifted to industry journalists and VIPs.
